Pastor Joseph Dhlakama
Have you ever wondered or asked yourself the question, what can I do to break the limitations on my life? Many of us, we surely have bothered ourselves with that question certainly not once or twice but several times.
I would like to share with you an ancient secret to breaking limitations and barriers on one’s life.
This secret has caused man of old and of now to achieve great feats. Jesus the greatest teacher also acknowledged and emphasised this secret. The secret, when it is employed it works wonders. The Bible calls it “Being in agreement” or in simpler terms Unity. In an era of selfishness, lone ranging and individuality, it is very important that we do not neglect or trash the great gift of the ability to work in agreement with one another.
The Bible puts it this way, “When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there”. Matthew 18:19-20(The Message Bible) How powerful is this! What is it then to be in agreement, it means to be in unison, to be in one accord, to speak the same language, to be harmonious and to be united.
If we are really serious about going forward in life, be it in business, as a family and as a nation there has to be an agreement, a synergy and a cooperation. We have to understand that when ever two people get into agreement and pray or even work together on a project, God Himself gets into action! Get it clear here, the easiest way to get God to support you, and to work with you on whatever you are doing is to be in agreement with someone.
God honours a united people. Therefore, in your family be united and be one, in your organisation be united and be one and as a nation let us be united. Remember the statement, “The enemy without will never defeat us if there is no enemy within”. If we are in one accord we can conquer and we can achieve virtually anything.
The secret to great achievements is unity because combined efforts are always greater than the sum of individual efforts and God is always involved in united work.
God bless you.
