ARTISTS from other districts of Manicaland have been urged to tell the province’s story through various forms of art.

National Arts Gallery Manicaland regional director, Ms Elizabeth Muusha, said the centre is always ready to provide artists with a platform to showcase their artworks and they are fully behind those that profile the province and reflect what it offers.

“Manicaland is our beautiful home that has a lot to offer in tourism and agriculture. As the regional gallery, we are calling upon artists to take the province’s story to the world through inspiring creations like sculptures, drawings, paintings as well as fine, visual and graphic arts,” said Ms Muusha.

With mostly artists from Mutare actively participating in the regional programmes at the gallery, she encouraged artists from other districts to come on board.

Ms Muusha also urged artists to get vaccinated against Covid-19 and register with them in order to formalise their operations and work together on improving the arts sector.
