THE Christmas holidays are finally here. I bet you all can’t wait to celebrate and well, a week after, it will be New Year. I also bet you had forgotten that once we get into the New Year, the countdown for opening schools begins, hahahahaha. Anyway, I urge you to celebrate this beautiful holiday responsibly, I mean always remember that it isn’t your birthday, but Jesus,’ so be responsible. Enjoy and send your beautiful and lovely pictures with your family and friends for next week’s issue. Kisses and hugs!

A young college student was enjoying a break from his studies with a drink in a cafe when he began chatting with an elderly gentleman sitting next to him. His first question was why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation.

“You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one,” the student said, loud enough for the nearby to hear. He continued, “… people of today are much more advanced than people your age. We grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon and the Internet. We have cellphones, nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers, automated manufacturing, amazing technologies and . . . ,” he paused to take another drink of his coffee.

The senior took advantage of the break in the student’s litany and said: “You’re right, son. We didn’t have those things when we were young so we invented them.  Now, you little boy, what are you doing for the next generation?”

The applause was resounding. I love senior citizens. #Whatsapp

Please don’t misuse money in these 11 days left of December, and then in January ask your friends to lend you money, and when they tell you they can’t help, write sad status updates saying: “When days are dark, friends are few”. We are not few, we just don’t have money to lend you in January. Please. — Charity
