Musicians, from the yesteryear legendary figures to contemporary producers of bubblegum music, sing about it every day.
Even our cultural beliefs are very clear.
Women were created from the rib of man to be beside him, not from his feet to be trampled by him, but from under his arm to be protected by him, near to his heart to be loved by him.
Why then would a man in his right frame of mind physically fight a woman?
This is an unmistakable sign of weakness on the part of the man.
Yet this is the case with this other well-known and respected ‘gentleman’, who is turning his once beloved wife into a punching bag.
The boy has literally turned his home into a boxing ring, with his kids being the spectators of endless bouts without any match officials.
What a shame!
Word reaching Yours Truly is that last week, this chauvinist had one too many and was involved in a road accident. His innocent kids were in the same car. Instead of taking the little ones to a medical institution he drove to a suburb where his wife is seeking refuge and caused a scene.
This is how stupid he is.
Not even the fact that his wife raised part of the money to buy the car he drives around in can deter him from his acts of nincompoopery.
While we all respect him due to his knowledge in insurance matters, we certainly do not side with him when it comes to abusing women.
Gentle and smart as he always appears in public, his behaviour is not smart at all. Whatever has suddenly gone wrong in his home is none of Blabbermouth’s business, but Yours Truly will surely not remain aloof when he sees this needless gender–based bloodletting.Like I always say, Yours Truly is driven by the need to preserve the little that remains of our moral fabric.
