THE quartet of Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds, Caps United and Dynamos are all in the race to secure the services of Last ‘Lala’ Jesi.

However, the dreadlocked player, who is now back in the sprawling suburb of Sakubva in Mutare after a short stint in Sudan, is taking his time to decide on his next move.

Of the four, his former club, Manica Diamonds is understood to have tabled the most enticing offer to pave way for his return to the Mutare club.

His handler, George Deda confirmed that Ngezi Platinum, Manica Diamonds, Caps United and Dynamos have tabled offers for the former La Sakubva player.

“Ngezi, Manica Diamonds, Caps United and Dynamos have tabled offers. I am waiting for him to decide which team he wants to join.

“The club that he will join is entirely his choice, but as his handler, I am also duty bound to give him advice on the advantages and disadvantages of joining certain clubs for him to make an informed choice,” said Deda.

Jesi is finally back in the country and Mutare in particular after a forgettable end to his short stint at Al Hilal FC in Sudan, as well as a failed attempt to secure a contract with a Tanzanian club.

The former Dongo Sawmills player signed a three-year contract with the Sudanese giants in September last year.

He made an instant impact on arrival in Sudan when he scored on his debut as the Omdurman-based side drew 1-1 against Hay-Al-Arab in a Premier League match on December 28.

Jesi featured for Al Hilal in five Champions League matches and was named man-of-the-match in two games.

But, there were complaints that the club was paying his salary late.

A change in the club ownership sealed his fate at the Sudanese giants.

Together with other three foreigners, they were released from the club.
