RUSAPE-BASED gospel musician, Apostle Cosmas Mamombe, has released his fifth album — ‘Suwo Renyasha’.

Mamombe launched his career in 2006. Ever since then, he has remained resolute in spreading the word of God through music.

Mamombe’s previous albums are ‘Nguva Yakwana’, ‘Kutenda Nemabasa’, ‘Mweya Washe’ and ‘Manna From Heaven’.

‘Suwo Renyasha’ carries nine tracks laden with well-composed lyrics and polished instruments.

The tracks on the album are ‘Musandisiye Jesu’, ‘Calvary’, ‘Pentecost’, ‘Rutava’, ‘Tipembere’, ‘Mune Rudo’, ‘Kudenga Kumusha’, ‘No Reverse Gear’ and ‘The Whole Family’.

Apostle Mamombe, the leader of Psalms of Mabvazuva Group, told Weekender that the album carries love, family unity, peace and prayer themes.

“The group has started 2020 on a positive note by releasing ‘Suwo Renyasha’.

“We are not singing for financial gain, we are doing so to spread the word of God,” said Apostle Mamombe.

“The album has been well received by our fans. Some of the songs are also receiving significant airplay on local radio stations.

“There are multiple messages on the album. This is meant to give Christians some hope and inspiration so that they can continue walking on His path. Most importantly, we have messages targeted at those who are yet to accept Christ as the redeemer of their lives,” he said.
