THE Zanu PF Manicaland membership has been urged to put up a united front and advance the country’s interests as the party prepares for the 2023 harmonised elections.

The remarks were made by the ruling party’s Secretary for External Relations, Cde Simbarashe Mumbengegwi, during a Zanu PF Manicaland Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting held at Mutare Teachers’ College yesterday.

He said unity of purpose among cadres is essential in helping them serve the country and party with both diligence and distinction.

“President Mnangagwa is always emphasising on building the country brick by brick and stone by stone. As comrades in Zanu PF who are committed to developing the country through economic and social transformation, we have to take a leaf from that.

“We all have a role to play by contributing positively towards the attainment of an upper-middle economy through Vision 2030 to ensure a prosperous future for Zimbabwe,” said Cde Mumbengegwi, who is also a Politburo member.

He urged the provincial leadership to continue working hard in mobilising support for Zanu PF from the grassroots and at all levels within the structures to ensure a resounding victory for President Mnangagwa and the party in the 2023 harmonised elections.
