EIGHT Covid-19 new recovery cases were recorded in Manicaland yesterday, the highest among all the country’s 10 provinces, figures released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care giving the daily update reveal.
According to the figures, yesterday recovery cases in the province are almost half of the total 20 recorded across the whole country.
This takes Manicaland’s cumulative number to 29 224 and the country’s to 250 100 recovery cases.
The national recovery rate remains at 98 percent.
There were no deaths related to the pandemic recorded in the province since the beginning of this week.
One case of new infections was yesterday recorded in Manicaland and the province has 55 active cases, with a cumulative total of 29 841.
Meanwhile, 6 353 122 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 while 4 707 702 have been inoculated with the second jab. 923 416 have received the third shot of the vaccination.
