MANICALAND yesterday recorded 20 new recovery cases of Covid-19, nearly half of the total 44 recorded across the whole country, figures released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care giving the daily update reveal.
The figures also show that yesterday’s new recovery cases in Manicaland are the highest among all the country’s 10 provinces.
It takes the province’s total number of recoveries to 29 204 and those of the entire country to 249 834.
This means that the national recovery rate is now at 98 percent.
No deaths related to the pandemic have been recorded in the province since the beginning of this week.
One case of Covid-19 was yesterday detected in Manicaland and the province has 60 active cases, with a cumulative total of 29 862.
Meanwhile, 6 335 631 people have received the first dose of Covid-19 while 4 689 245 have been inoculated with the second jab. 911 778 have received the third shot of the vaccination.
