BUDDING gospel musician Caroline Chidzikwe has declared herself a “co-worker with God” called to serve and committed to blazing a trail in her vocation of scriptural evangelism through song.

Backed by her group, the Throne Worshippers, Chidzikwe is set to unveil her debut full studio album following the release of two highly successful singles this year.

The songstress is the mellifluous voice behind “Mutsvene Mutsvene”, which has been doing well on the Diamond FM Super Sunday Gospel Show since its release in August. The other hot track “Zvosiyana” has also been receiving heavy rotation on other radio stations.

And now, buoyed by her pioneering project, the new diva on the gospel music block has armed herself with a fresh offering — “Zvinoda Mutsimba” — seeking to establish herself as a dominant player on the scene.

“Following the release of two singles this year, we are back with a complete album. Gospel music forms an integral part of our existence because it should have a huge impact on people’s lives while transforming them through positive influence. As such, we are answering a call from up above to touch the inner core of humanity through the power of song.

“We shall be discharging a powerful delivery of moving music in early 2020 which is going to nourish the souls of many, following up on our promise when we first hit the airwaves that we are going to churn out more.

“This is our way of fellowshipping with the multitude of other Christians out there. Our efforts have finally come to fruition and we are glad with the direction we are taking musically,” preached the silk-voiced Chidzikwe.

She revealed that on “Zvinoda Mutsimba” she featured renowned gospel musician Bethany Pasinawako and Pastor Clever Dzvairo.

The album, which carries six tracks, touches on a multiplicity of subjects which include, among others, perseverance in God, glorification of the Lord, divine intervention, spirituality and the Saviour’s faithfulness. Records wizard Lyton Ngolomi of Light On Studios was in charge of the production.
