SAKUBVA-BRED forward Nyasha Chintuli feels his goal in the Harare Derby on Sunday is a catalyst to boosting his confidence and increase his tally in the remaining fixtures of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League 2023 season.
The former Manica Diamonds and Tenax attacker’s solitary first half strike settled the contest between Dynamos and CAPS United at the National Sports Stadium to hand the bragging rights to the Glamour Boys.
This was Chintuli’s first goal for the Harare giants since joining at the start of this campaign.
Although he has endured a largely peripheral role at DeMbare, featuring in just over half of the 24 games his team has played so far, the gunslinger is confident he can play a big part in their quest to clinch the championship.
“It always feels good to score goals, especially if one is a striker. It is even more special to net the winner that makes all the difference in such a big match playing against arch rivals CAPS United. This goals has boosted my confidence and I am hungry for more. I am looking forward to getting more involved and scoring many goals for my team and contribute to their quest to win silverware,” said the Mutare-born footballer.
Chintuli said he is enjoying his stint at Dynamos and will continue working hard to leave a mark at the popular club.
