THE Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education will tomorrow (Wednesday) engage partners in a high level policy dialogue aimed at mobilising resources to fund some of the Ministry’s priority areas.

Government has over the years continued to invest in providing quality, relevant and inclusive primary, secondary and non-formal education, which efforts have been complemented by partners.

In a statement today, Primary and Secondary Education Minister Dr Evelyn Ndlovu said the engagement between Government and partners is facilitated by UNICEF.

“The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is set to engage in a high level policy dialogue on education financing with partners aimed at mobilising resources to fund the Ministry’s priority areas. The strategy is meant to augment the resources that the Ministry has been getting from Government through Treasury,” said Dr Ndlovu.

She called on more players to partner the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education this year in order to increase access to education, especially for the marginalised children.
