NATIONAL hero and Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water and Rural Resettlement, Air Chief Marshal (Retired) Perrance Shiri, will be buried today (Friday) at the National Heroes Acre in Harare in adherence with World Health Organisation regulations.
Rtd Chief Air Marshal Shiri died in Harare on Wednesday.
Yesterday, President Mnangagwa announced that the liberation war supremo succumbed to Covid-19.
Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Permanent Secretary, Mr Nick Mangwana announced Minister Shiri’s burial on his Twitter handle.
“The burial of the late Air Chief Marshall (Rtd), Hon Perrance Shiri will be held tomorrow 31/07/2020. All WHO guidelines will be followed,” Mr Mangwana wrote.
