MANICA Post scored big at the 2019 Megafest Eastern Region Business Awards ceremony held last Friday at a local hotel after the publication and its outgoing Editor Hatred Zenenga scooped top awards.

The Manica Post scooped the Professional Service Gold Award while Zenenga walked away with the Business Personality of the Year Platinum Award.

An excited Zenenga had this to say: “I am extremely honoured to be receiving such an important award, the Business Personality of the Year Platinum Award. I am indeed grateful for the recognition I have received for my work.

“I am sure that every other nominee for this award was as capable, if not more, of winning it.

“I have faced several challenges in the course of my work, but each one of them has only strengthened to be a thorough professional who knows exactly what he wants and sets his eyes on a goal and does not lose sight of it, until it is achieved.

“I must hasten to say winning this award would not have been possible without the inspiration I have received from my seniors and my colleagues, for whom I have the profoundest respect, and from whom I have derived the strength to challenge myself and perform better.”

The organisation, which is a Zimpapers-owned publication, also shone at the inaugural Megafest Awards in 2018 after it scooped the prestigious Most Consistent Organisation Award.
