A HAULAGE truck which was travelling from Harare to Mutare veered off the road and overturned near Megawatt building in Mutare’s Central Business District following brake failure on Friday morning.
The driver sustained serious injuries and was ferried to Mutare Provincial Hospital. A passenger escaped unhurt in the melee.
Manicaland provincial police spokesperson Inspector Tavhiringwa Kakohwa said he was yet to get finer details of the accident.
