TRUST Matunhure, a product of the ambitious Matsetso Project in Chimanimani, snatched pole position in this year’s Manicaland Open golf tournament B Division held at Hillside Golf course during the weekend. Although there was a small turnout from golfers in Manicaland, junior players from Matsesto project represented the province well with Matunhure going all the way to snatch the B Division title.
Harare dominated the two-day Manicaland Amateur held at Hillside Golf Club during in Mutare the weekend. David Amm was the Championship Division winner while Toderai Masunga weighed in second position. Tafara Mpofu came third. All the three are from Harare.
