GREENFUEL, bankrolled by Billy Rautenbach, and currently in Bulawayo for a two-week preseason camp, have made several high-profile signings from the domestic top-flight league as the Chisumbanje-based outfit gears up for the 2025 Castle Lager Premiership season.

Although chairman, Fred Moyo declined to officially confirm the new signings until all the paperwork is complete, Post Sport understands that the experienced duo of Ronald Chitiyo and Perfect Chikwende are among the new recruits expected to lead GreenFuel’s strike force in the upcoming PSL season.

“We will announce our new acquisitions soon after we get clearances and when the paperwork is in place for all the players. However, about 95 percent of the new singings’ paperwork is ready for registration. We can assure our fans that we have assembled a highly competitive team for the 2025 season,” he said. Moyo said the club is currently holding a preseason camp in Bulawayo, where old and new players are expected to jell into a formidable unit.

“I am excited to announce that my team, GreenFuel Football Club is fully prepared and ready for the upcoming season, which kicks off in just a month’s time. After weeks of intense training, strategic planning, and key squad enhancements, the team is in top shape and eager to compete at the highest level.

“Our preseason camp in Bulawayo will run for about 10 days, starting in early February. This will provide an opportunity for new players, existing players, and technical staff to bond and become a cohesive unit,” said Moyo.

Despite the changes in their technical department, with Saul Chaminuka departing for Kwekwe United and Taurai Mangwiro taking the reins as head coach, GreenFuel still boast of abundance experience and expertise in the dugout.

“Our coaching staff and players have been working tirelessly to refine our tactics, improve fitness levels, and build strong team chemistry. With a mix of experienced leaders and fresh talent, we are confident in our ability to make a strong impact this season.

“From the training ground, the players have shown great commitment and determination. We have fine-tuned our game plan, and everyone is motivated to give their best. We are ready to challenge for success and make our fans proud,” he said.

The GreenFuel FC chairman called on their enthusiastic supporters to brace up for exciting times ahead for the club.

“As we gear up for the 2025 season, we invite our supporters to rally behind the team and be part of this exciting journey. GreenFuel FC is prepared, focused, and ready to give our all on the field,” he said.
