What is this that we hear about this other short guy who is widely referred to as “King” yet he is nothing more than a well-avowed rascal who never learns from the mistakes of those that traversed the same path before him.
Word reaching Blabber is that he paid a big bill to a popular prophet just to have the prophet sit down and record a one-minute video greeting and flattering the daft “King”.
Today, the video has now gone viral on WhatsApp and the “King” feels he has achieved something big.
Shame, this is what man can do just to have someone massage their ego!
Not so long ago we had another diamond dealer of similar physical stature who paid a popular musician handsomely just to have the diamond dealer’s name on the lyrics of the sungura musician.
If you know, you know!
In case, gentle reader, you could be wondering who the “King’’ is, a few notes will help you realise the nincompoop I am blabbering about.
He is none other than the well-known, uncultured moron who used to spend most of his time loafing around a shopping mall in Mutare’s central business district.
The morpheme of his nickname is reminiscent of that other famous football legend from a neighbouring country who used fame gained from playing football to become Cabinet minister.
Some might remember this guy from the olden days when he was a gardener working for a certain flashy, youthful pastor before the man of God relocated to a neighbouring country.
Later he was promoted from being a gardener to an uptown clothing shop assistant, a shop that was also being run by the departed man of God.
The unwise “King” then made a fortune out of illegal diamond deals and, to his credit, managed to buy a house in one of the city’s leafy suburbs.
We all know how he has suddenly turned himself into darling of the crowds each time he walks into different night- spots around the city because he is “making it rain”.
In other words, he is now in the habit of throwing the hard-to-come-by greenbacks in 10 and 20 dollar denominations for people to scramble for cash.
Blabber can only remind him that a fool and his money soon part ways!
