Ingredients:
4 cups cake flour
½ cup white sugar
4 tbsp melted margarine
2 tspns yeast
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Pinch of salt
1 ¼ cup warm milk
Recipe:
Start by mixing all the dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, sugar, yeast and salt)
Incorporate everything together and sieve it all
In another bowl mix the wet ingredients start with (milk , melted margarine, vanilla essence and eggs)
Whisk everything together using a had whisk till everything is well combined.
Make a well in the dry ingredients mixture and pour the wet mixture.
Use a wooden stick to mix then switch to hands a make a smooth dough.
Knead for 10 minutes on a clean flat surface until it is smooth and elastic.
Put it in a clean bowl and make it rest for one hour
Knead it for about 2 minutes then make dough balls then set aside for 10 mins
Then roll the balls into sausage shape.
Cover them for 30 minutes or until they have doubled in size.
fry them on medium heat until they are golden brown.
Let them cool and slit it in half then fill it with fresh cream
Stable fresh cream recipe:
1 litre heavy cream
4 tablespoons icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
In a bowl pour heavy cream and icing using beat together for about 6 minutes or until soft peak appears, then add vanilla essence, continue mixing until stiff peak appears in about 8 to 10 minutes.
Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before using it. – Online.
