A SAKUBVA barber has had enough of his pregnant wife’s violent antics.
He has since approached the courts to seek refuge.
Sincewhen Chademana told the court that due to Precious Musu’s violence whenever she visits his barber shop at Sakubva Musika, he is now contemplating closing the business.
The barber has also abandoned his matrimonial home to stay with his brother’s family.
Magistrate Ms Nyasha Kuture presided over the case.
Narrated Chademana: “Your Worship, she harasses me every time she sees me. It seems like she carries stones in her handbag. Whenever we meet, she throws them at me. She comes to my barber shop every day. I am now living in fear of the woman I married.
“I have since moved out of our matrimonial home due to her violent behaviour,” said Chademana.
“Now she follows me to my brother’s place and throws stones at the house. My relatives are now reluctant to accommodate me because of her behaviour. This is so embarrassing, Your Worship.”
Chademana pleaded with the court to bar Musu from coming to his workplace or his brother’s house.
However, Musu argued that she could not be barred from visiting Sakubva Musika since she buys her vegetables there.
She also said it is her right to visit her husband.
“This man is irresponsible when it comes to looking after his family, that’s why I go to his place of residence and workplace asking for child upkeep,” she said.
She, however, did not deny the allegations levelled against her.
Ms Kuture ordered Musu to refrain from abusing her husband. The magistrate also told Musu to maintain peace when she visits Chademana.
