DRIVEN by the desire to reward revellers for their patronage since the joint opened, Discovery has lined up a huge treat to span over the entire festive period and spill into the new year.
While leisure activity at the watering hole has been steadily growing over the last weeks, it is set to go into overdrive with a series of live performances by dance groups and guest emcees.
Beginning this weekend, revellers in Selbourne and surrounding areas start their festivities in earnest and get a feel of what to look forward to, with a pleasant jamboree already lined up that is set to usher in 2017.
“It has all been delightful since we got this place up and running that we are encouraged by the revellers’ patronage, which has continued to grow over time. It has been one good turn that we feel deserves another and we, therefore, feel obliged to return the favour by hosting several shows that bring the feel-good factor to our customers.
“The idea is to end this year on a high note as well as begin the new one in style. As such, dance groups and DJs will converge here for what promises to be a fireworks-filled thriller on the dance floor and the decks. We have always aimed higher and are continuing with our mandate of transforming the leisure face of this community,” Discovery management told The Weekender in an interview.
In addition to the routine shows and good music, the entertainment spot also serves sumptuous dishes, braai facilities and a wide variety of beverages all affordably priced for patrons’ convenient enjoyment.
This, management said, was designed to create an environment conducive for weekend outings that are perfectly ideal for families. Discovery opens every day of the week, with activity heightening during the weekends with disco by the joint’s resident DJs.
