LEADING local radio station, Diamond FM continues to soar high after scooping yet another top award at this year’s Megafest Eastern Region Business Awards held at a local hotel on Friday.

The radio station walked away with the Excellence of the Year Gold Award.

In an interview, Diamond FM station manager Jabulani “JB” Mangezi, who has steered the radio station to greater heights, said the award was motivating.

“We feel honoured and we appreciate the recognition brand Diamond FM in particular and Zimpapers in general continue to receive from listeners, business and other stakeholders. As a radio station, we remain committed to contributing to the development agenda in Manicaland especially in light of the pending devolution,” he said.

Dr Tsitsi Mupfunya (in black), of Milestone Group of Schools, won the Businesswoman of the Year Award.

During the inaugural Megafest Eastern Region Business Awards in 2018, Diamond FM also scored big after they scooped the Customer Focus Award, while its former station manager Leander Kandiero walked away with the top award for Exemplary Business Personality of the Year award.
