Crying more than the bereaved

The ManicaPost

AT a time when Yours Truly wanted to focus on the conspiracy theories emerging after that sex worker hit the jackpot recently, something else caught my attention.

Some are saying very soon we will hear the thigh vendor crying about being intimate with mysterious objects or animals after her rare US$15 000 catch.

Be that as it may, Yours Truly decided to focus on the shameless ‘men of God’ who are busy quenching their sexual appetite on congregants while trying to make the whole world believe that they are holier than thou.

Blabber is shocked that there is a pastor who has suddenly sprung to the defence of his superior after the later was implicated in a nasty adultery case in which he impregnated a young congregant.

I mean that other rabid bishop who did not only impregnate the young female congregant, but also unsuccessfully tried to terminate the pregnancy four times without success!

Yours Truly is aware of the sexual shenanigans of this bishop and how he has managed to hoodwink congregants into believing that he is a true man of God.

In a bid to curry favours from the bishop with the hope of being elevated up the echelons of power in the tainted church, the pastor has been doing everything possible to portray his boss in good light.

Despite the pastor’s spirited denial, many congregants have since seen the light and have turned their backs on the sex pervert.

It is sad that the young woman now has to live with the reality of being a young mother to the bishop’s child.

But just a small piece of advice to this wayward pastor, why not concentrate on preaching the word and forget about defending equally immoral leaders?

Feeding on church Sunday offerings and hand-outs from congregants is not bad, but this pastor must learn to zip his mouth when sensitive issues involving fellow human beings are being discussed.

Yes, the pastor might end up getting favours in church, but that might come at a cost given that many might shift their attention from the bishop to the pastor himself.

How does the pastor think the young woman and her family feels after this shameful incident?

Imagine if this young woman was your sister or daughter.

Yours Truly could go on and on but Blabber hopes our dear pastor will see the light soon.

I rest my case, for now!
