Chevrons out to salvage series

ZIMBABWE are looking forward to bouncing back in style when they play Bangladesh in the second of the three-match T20 international series at Harare Sports Club this afternoon.

The Chevrons trail the series 1-0 after losing yesterday’s match by eight wickets. Fielding errors, conceding too many extras and a batting collapse costed the hosts dearly.

Regis Chakabva top scored with 43 but Zimbabwe only managed to pick up two wickets through run outs as the bowlers struggled to make an impact.

Captain Sikandar Raza did not fault the bowling unit’s failure to pick a single wicket.
