JUST when we thought we had heard enough about issues of corruption and sexual perverts coming from this other high office in the city, we soon learnt that we were totally wrong!
We all know that there has been unending drama in the corridors of power in this organisation, but somehow we thought the departure of their late boss would see some sense of sobriety returning to the administration of the institution.
Yours Truly is blabbering about none other than the major service provider in the city whose highest office has always been linked with all the social and professional vices one can think of.
There is really no prize for guessing which office Yours Truly is jabbering about.
Who does not know how the late occupant of this office turned the organisation into his own little kingdom where he hired and fired at will before he made the institution his own hunting ground to feed his unquenchable sexual appetite?
As if that was enough, the one who came in on acting capacity suddenly transformed, right before our eyes, from an untarnished gentleman we all knew into a sexual monster, let alone a nepotistic goon.
It did not take long before he was cut down to size!
And today, Blabber can reveal that even the one who is now performing duties on an acting capacity in the same office is treading along the same paths as his predecessors.
Blabber has it on good authority that the young boy’s marriage is on the rocks as he has now been captured by this other city slay queen.
Yours Truly now knows that his wife has to negotiate for money for her upkeep with the slay queen, and not directly with her husband.
Gentle reader, you heard me right, the new protocol in this love triangle demands that the wife has to beg for upkeep money from the slay queen, and not directly from her husband.
This is how bad things have gone in the young man’s once blissful marriage and Yours Truly is deeply concerned that could this be some demon residing in this office that is always waiting to pounce on the next occupant of this revered office.
In the interest of preserving the little that remains of our moral fabric, Blabber is not happy that this young man has succumbed to the trappings of power and money at a very early age, let alone very early in his professional career path.
Yours Truly shudders to imagine how he will behave in the foreseeable future, if he gets more time even in his current office or better still, if he gets elevated into the highest office.
Being an elder in our community, Blabber will be quick to advise him that the grass is always greener on the other side, young man!
The things we do not have always seem more appealing than the things we have, and so is the wife you are ill-treating.
