A NEW year is an opportunity for us all to reflect on the things we could have done better, both as individuals and as a community.
It is in this spirit that Yours Truly hopes that most, if not all, of us will take time to mend our ways and start doing the right things.
This also applies to our brothers and sisters who have basterdised our social norms and created a haven of sinful sexual acts similar to those that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
If indeed it is biological, as they often want us to believe, please do it away from the public glare.
It is just nauseating for some of us who were raised and taught normal and acceptable ways compatible to our cultural values.
This fast developing tendency of turning John into Elizabeth, Mary into Martin, is just not part of our cultural norms.
Hate it or love it, that is the plain truth.
If we still have brothers and sisters who think mending their ways is not possible, they might take a leaf from this other bouncer turned politician who is now a prayer warrior.
If you see him going uphill at that other mountain near a certain teachers’ college for prayers, you would never think that he is the same person who gave sleepless nights to many in our beautiful city.
He has now turned to the Almighty and the master has suddenly met his Master!
Whether he is doing it to boost his political fortunes or for personal glory, we do not care.
All we praise is the knowledge he now has about the beauty and goodness of our saviour, Lord Jesus Christ.
Just in case some social misfits might think Blabber has forgotten about the list of women who were used and abused by that other second hand clothing bales dealer, no, they are not yet off the hook.
Yours Truly is still going through the meticulous verification process to get to the pith of the matter.
By the way, the Year 2022 had a humiliating end to this other little known CCTV dealer who let loose his valves while drunk and soiled his pants at this other trendy uptown watering hole.
Blabber hopes he had his lessons and will now know his limits when it comes to the waters of wisdom.
As the new year unfolds, please never forget that Blabber’s long lenses will be functional as ever and even much more effective.
