AFRO-jazz sensation, Ammie Jamanda, whose stock continues to rise will perform in Mutare for the first time in a potentially-explosive double header. She performs tonight (Friday) and tomorrow.
Jamanda is popular for songs such as Gata Rinoshura Materu, Mwari Ndipei Murume as well as the iconic, Ruva Rangu which features Chimurenga legend, Thomas Mapfumo.
All shows start at 8pm.
She will be backed by resident deejay, Silver Vee.

Backed by Rythymz of Afrika Band, Jamanda will perform from 4pm till late.

Versatile wheel spinner, Guvenor will clash with veteran deejay, Ranga T this weekend in an event dubbed: “Mid-month fiesta”.
The clash takes places at the joint’s gazebo and open air where patrons will be treated to an assortment of beverages and affordable beef, chicken and pork for braai.
Tahadamos
The joint situated at Matimba Business Centre in Dora communal lands will host fun lovers who frequent the joint for open air entertainment.
This weekend, starting tonight, will see DJ Lion performing on the turntables.
Micasa
As the English Premier League soccer reaches its climax, resident deejays, Frazer and Terminator will entertain football and fun lovers who frequent the joint every weekend.
The joint reintroduces MaRasta Wednesdays which largely caters for reggae and conscious music fanatics, while patrons who fancy jazz and Afro-jazz music will be in for a treat on Afro-Jazz Thursday sessions.
Far End Bar and Grill
The newly-renovated entertainment joint situated in the city centre and popular for old skool beats will see DJ Kartel entertaining revellers who include pool lovers as the home team, Far End Club hold their after-party this weekend.
Acid Bar
Youthful DJ Yala, who is popular among music lovers in Chikanga will entertain fun lovers in the ghetto with an assortment of music this weekend.
He is expected to provide musical therapy to home team, Acid Pool Club and their fans.
