MANICALAND Province yesterday recorded new 40 Covid-19 recovered cases, improving from the previous day’s 12.
This is the highest number of recoveries since the past weekend.
According to figures released by the Ministry of Health and Child Care, Manicaland recorded 12 recovered cases on Sunday and five on Saturday.
Yesterday’s 40 indicates an increase in the number of recovered cases recorded over the last three days.
By yesterday, the province had recorded a total of 4 058 overall recovered cases.
Of these, Mutasa District had 733 with Bonda (298), Old Mutare (161) and Hauna (156) recording the highest.
The national recovery rate stands at 67 percent.
